Now days the Antimonopoly, Antioligopoly and against Unfair Competition Law is being discussed (second discussion) in the National Assembly, which up to this date it has 145 articles developed in different Titles and Chapters.

La Law seeks to promote and protect the harmonious development of the national economy and its principles of co-responsibility, balance, fair competition and solidarity, through the prohibition and punishment of natural and juridical persons on monopolic, duopolics, oligopolics, abuse of control, concentrated demand and unfair competition, hoarding, speculation and usury behaviors and practices.

Finally, it is contemplated that the State will evaluate and might grant exclusive concessions for a limited time and with determined conditions for the establishment of industries and exploitation of work and services of public interest, due to reasons of national interest or convenience.
