Last Thursday, January 26, Borges & Lawton received in its office located in Maracaibo, part of its clients and friends in the seminar “Municipal Taxation: Tendency to tax the exchange differential”, coordinated by the firm through its attorney José Ricardo León.

The meeting discussed a reality evidenced in different municipalities from the west to the east of the country, providing different points of view and contrasting the provisions of the local regulatory bodies, as well as in the organic law of the municipal matter and what has been ruled by the jurisprudence of the Supreme Court.

It is worth mentioning that these events are intended for the dissemination of interesting and novel topics, which may serve as support and orientation for clients and friends. We would like to thank them for their receptiveness and trust in Borges & Lawton, thus maintaining our commitment to continue developing opportunities of this kind with a view to a joint growth.
